From taking up the role first in 2013 to then saying goodbye to it after Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He returned to the role officially with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. However, once James Gunn became the co-CEO of the franchise alongside Peter Safran, Cavill once again was let go from the role.
